Who are we?

Bee Fab Academy has come out of nearly 30 years’ experience in social care settings. this includes training, coaching and mentoring.

Our Queen Bee, Jaqui Barnes-Monaghan, started off as a care assistant in the NHS, she then became a support worker and moved to manager, then senior manager within four years. She spent some time working with young people with barriers to employment within a local authority, discovering that encouraging and supporting young people into paid work was something she excelled at.

Jaqui wants to use the knowledge and skills she has gained to train, Coach a mentor young people with barriers to employment, whether it’s disability, neurodiversity, criminal record, Didn’t cope at school, dropped out of school, care leaver or any other reason.

To do this Jaqui will be working with local authorities, job centres and businesses. Our current partners are ignition rocks (https://www.ignition.rocks) and The Cobra Club (www.thecobraclub.co.uk).

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure all young people get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.

We strive to provide coaching and training for a minimum of 1500 young people who need support to get into paid work over the next 5 years.

Our Vision
  • To work with public services and local businesses to support young people with barriers to employment find and maintain paid work.
  • To support young people to build self-confidence and self-esteem as well as increase knowledge and skills and to be ready to join the workforce.
  • To provide volunteering opportunities, including training and coaching, For local people wishing to support young people into work
